Supporting documents to berthing application

FOR PRIVATE VESSELS OWNED BY A NATURAL PERSON
  1. Certificate of the nationality of the vessel.
  2. Valid insurance certificate.
  3. In case the person appointed as procedural representative is other than the natural person‐owner of the vessel, a solemn declaration of Law 1599/86 is required for the appointment of a procedural representative and respectively a solemn declaration of Law 1599/86 filled in by the procedural representative on the acceptance of his/her
    appointment.
  4. Photocopy of both sides of a police ID card of the natural person‐owner as well as of the procedural representative, if any.
  5. Signature of the Application and Vessel Berthing Agreement.
FOR PRIVATE VESSELS OWNED BY A LEGAL PERSON
  1. Certificate of the nationality of the vessel.
  2. Valid insurance certificate.
  3. Codified Articles of Association of the company accompanied by the registration with the relevant Register to which the company belongs (General Business Registry (G.E.MI.), Register of the Ministry of Shipping and Island Policy, etc.).
  4. Certificate of Valid Representation issued by the G.E.MI. or a recent Certificate for Recreational Crafts Shipping Companies.
  5. In case the person appointed as procedural representative of the company is other than the legal representative of the company, a solemn declaration of Law 1599/86 of the legal representative is required for the appointment of a procedural representative και and respectively a solemn declaration of Law 1599/86 filled in by the procedural
    representative on the acceptance of his/her appointment.
  6. Photocopy of both sides of a police ID card of the legal representative of the company as well as of the procedural representative, if any.
  7. Signature of the Application and Vessel Berthing Agreement.
FOR MERCHANT VESSELS OWNED BY A NATURAL PERSON
  1. Certificate of nationality.
  2. Valid professional decision–certificate of registration in thee‐register.
  3. Valid insurance certificate.
  4. Certificate of enumeration.
  5. General Inspection Certificate.
  6. Statement of activities mainly in the open sea for boats over 12m.
  7. In case the person appointed as procedural representative is other than the natural person‐owner of the vessel, a solemn declaration of Law 1599/86 is required for the appointment of a procedural representative and respectively a solemn declaration of Law 1599/86 filled in by the procedural representative on the acceptance of his/her
    appointment.
  8. Photocopy of both sides of a police ID card of the natural person‐owner as well as of the procedural representative, if any.

REMARKS
  • The original documents of the vessel are necessary for the submission of the berthing application.
  • The following are required for the renewal of the mooring of the vessel that has already been stated:
    1. A solemn declaration is required for any change in the above documents. The new documents certifying the changes must be submitted.
    2. The renewal of the mooring period shall be filled in a special filled of the existing application.
