Alimos Marina is the largest marina in the Balkans and one of Greece’s most historic and iconic marinas.

It is a reference point of the greek Capital and an indispensable part of its seaside, also known as the ‘Athenian Riviera’ and it has always been the base of sailing and yachting enthusiasts.

AKTOR Concessions, in collaboration with REDS, is expected to commence the redevelopment project of Alimos Marina in the coming months, aiming to upgrade it into one of the most modern tourist marinas in the Mediterranean.

Alimos Marina is strategically located in the southwest of Athens, 15 km away from the city center, 8 km south of the Piraeus Port and 30 km from the International Airport El.Venizelos.  The wider area is served by a dense transport network of trams, buses and taxis.

The Marina operates according to the international standards and has a winter storage area that can accommodate up to 350 boats. Its maximum depth is 6.5m.

WINTER STORAGE

Alimos Marina offers one of the most up-to-date winterizing facilities. Its 60,000m2 Dry Dock area is secured 24/7 by CCTV and security personnel and it boasts a capacity of more than 350 vessels of various types.

High-caliber services are available on-site for vessel repair and maintenance.

The development plan of Alimos Marina by AKTOR CONCESSIONS and REDS, envisages the creation of a modern and attractive leisure and recreation hub. Modern facilities have been planned for the land area of the marina – which covers approximately 18,000 sq.m. They will house catering, accommodation services, offices and trading activities. The marina’s surrounding area will develop into a pleasant seaside recreation pole, open to the public and designed in a pedestrian and bicycle-friendly way. Following the development plans, the configuration of the area will include extensive green spaces, squares, sidewalks and bicycle paths and a big number of parking lots for the visitors’ convenience.
All services to the moored boat owners will be concurrently upgraded, so that Alimos Marina becomes one of the most up-to-date marinas in the Mediterranean Sea.
