Location
Alimos Marina is ideally located just 15 km from the center of Athens, 8 km south of the Port of Piraeus, and 30 km from Athens International Airport “Eleftherios Venizelos.” It is fully serviced by an extensive public transportation network including trams, buses, and taxis, with stops located 500 meters from the Marina.
Alimos Marina is situated on Posidonos Avenue in Alimos (P.C. 17455). Conveniently located just outside the marina is the “1st Kalamaki” bus stop, served by buses A1, B1, B2, and X96. For passengers using the tram to travel to and from the center of Athens, Piraeus, and Voula, there is the “Pikrodafni” tram stop just outside the main entrance of the marina.
Athens International Airport “Eleftherios Venizelos” is approximately a 40-minute drive from the marina, depending on traffic. Additionally, bus route X96, serving the airport-Piraeus route, provides direct access to and from the airport to the marina.
Travelers by car can easily reach the marina from the center of Athens by following Syngrou Avenue and Poseidonos Avenue towards Glyfada. Also, those traveling via the E75 motorway should head towards Glyfada via Poseidonos Avenue.
Transfer to and from the Marina
– Via the National Road E75 that leads to Poseidonos Avenue
– Via Syggrou Avenue, which connects with Poseidonos Avenue.
Note: Poseidonos Avenue is the main avenue along the beach that passes outside Marina Alimou.
Just outside the Marina Alimou is the 1st Station of Kalamaki, where you can take A1, B1, B2 & X96.
“Pikrodafni” tram stop is located just outside the main entrance of the Marina.
From “Pikrodafni” one can easily head for Glyfada or the Athens center (Syntagma square).
The nearest metro station to Marina Alimou is the “Syggrou-Fix” one, just a few minutes away by car or local bus (B2).
