Code of Responsible Social Conduct
At Alimos Marina, we are committed to fostering an environment that promotes mutual respect, safety, and a positive experience for all users, visitors, partners, and employees.
The Code of Responsible Social Conduct outlines the core principles that guide the operation of the marina and encourages behaviors that contribute to a welcoming, accessible, and inclusive environment for all.
By adhering to principles of respect for people, facilities, and the natural environment, we enhance the overall experience within the marina and support the development of a community built on cooperation, responsibility, and mutual consideration.
Key Principles and Guidelines of Conduct
1. Respect for People
All visitors, berth holders, employees, and partners are expected to treat one another with courtesy, respect, and professionalism. Any form of discrimination, harassment, intimidation, or behavior that undermines the dignity of others is not tolerated.
2. Maintaining a Calm and Pleasant Environment
Users of the marina are expected to avoid actions that may disturb others, such as excessive noise or loud music. Respecting designated quiet hours (15:00–17:30 and 23:00–07:00 during the summer period, and 15:30–17:30 and 22:00–07:30 during the winter period) contributes to a comfortable environment for all.
3. Safety and Responsible Use of Facilities**
All visitors and users are required to comply with safety signage, staff instructions, and marina regulations. Any incident or situation that may pose a risk to people, vessels, or infrastructure should be reported immediately to marina personnel.
4. Respect for Common Areas
The marina’s facilities are shared spaces intended for the use of all. Proper use, cleanliness, and the avoidance of damage are essential to maintaining a high-quality and functional environment.
5. Respect for Privacy
The privacy of visitors, berth holders, and partners must always be respected. Taking photos or videos of individuals, vessels, or private areas without consent, as well as sharing personal information of others, should be avoided.
6. Accessibility and Inclusion
Alimos Marina is committed to creating an inclusive environment where all visitors can enjoy equal access to services and facilities. Users are expected to respect the needs of persons with disabilities and ensure that access routes and related infrastructure remain unobstructed.
7. Respect for the Marine and Natural Environment
Responsible social conduct is closely linked to environmental protection. Visitors and users are encouraged to manage waste responsibly, use designated disposal facilities, and avoid any actions that may cause pollution or environmental degradation.
8. Responsible Presence of Pets
Pet owners are responsible for the supervision and behavior of their animals within the marina. They must ensure cleanliness and take appropriate measures to prevent disturbance to other visitors.
9. Dialogue and Continuous Improvement
Alimos Marina encourages feedback, suggestions, and observations from its visitors and users. Open communication and constructive feedback contribute to the continuous improvement of services and the overall marina experience.
