The emergency response drill for a marine pollution incident was successfully conducted on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at Alimos Marina, confirming the effectiveness of the Emergency Response Plan and the level of staff preparedness.
The drill aimed to ensure the coordination of all involved parties, the immediate response to a potential pollution incident, the evaluation of staff readiness, and the operational efficiency of the anti-pollution equipment.
It was carried out by the Marina’s specially trained Anti-Pollution Team, under the supervision and in cooperation with officers of the Saronic Coast Guard, and in the presence of the Director of Alimos Marina, Mr. Vlachos.
This initiative reinforces Alimos Marina’s commitment to protecting the marine environment and contributes to the sustainable development of maritime infrastructure.
