Alimos, 6 January – The traditional Epiphany celebrations and the Blessing of the Waters were held in Alimos with great solemnity, attracting hundreds of residents and visitors. Following the Divine Liturgy at the Church of the Transfiguration of the Saviour, the procession of the Holy Cross concluded at the premises of Alimos Marina.
The event was attended by the Director of Alimos Marina, Mr. Vangelis Vlachos, who reaffirmed the Marina’s commitment to supporting the local community and the Kalamaki Nautical Club (NOK), highlighting its role as a key development hub for the area and tourism.
The Mayor of Alimos, Mr. Andreas Kondylis, also referred to the planned redevelopment works, noting that interventions are expected to begin during 2026, further enhancing both the Marina’s functionality and the city’s image.
