Alimos Marina successfully completed its annual marine pollution response exercise on December 11, 2025, demonstrating full readiness and reaffirming the effectiveness of its “Emergency Response Plan for Marine Pollution.”
The exercise aimed to ensure the coordination of all involved parties, enable swift intervention in the event of a pollution incident, assess staff preparedness, verify the functionality of operational equipment, and evaluate the reliability of procedures.

It was conducted by the Marina’s specially trained Anti-Pollution Team, in collaboration with New Naval Ltd., under the supervision of senior officials from the Saronikos Coast Guard and the A Faliro Port Authority, alongside the Director of Alimos Marina, Mr. Vlachos.
This initiative reinforces Alimos Marina’s commitment to protecting the marine environment and promotes sustainable development across maritime infrastructure.
