In the panel &#8220;Rethinking the Marinas of the Athens Riviera as an Investment, Tourism and Business Hub,&#8221; Mr. Vlachos emphasized the importance of marinas in the development of tourism, highlighting the advantages of the Alimos Marina: its proximity to Athens, its location which provides protection from adverse weather conditions, and the direct access to the Saronic Gulf.<br \/>\nHe underlined the overall need for a strategic planning of additional berths and the importance of cooperation among all involved parties: private individuals, local authorities, and the government.<br \/>\nMr. Vlachos&#8217;s presence at the conference highlighted the commitment of Alimos Marina to create a state-of-the-art &#8220;green&#8221;
